Welcome to Bognor Regis Youth & Community Centre, situated in the heart of the Pevensey Ward. Originally opened in 1938 by the Duke of Gloucester on donated land as a wartime "Boys Club," our building evolved through the decades into a vibrant youth hub before proudly becoming an independent, community-owned facility in 1971. Today, our mission remains firmly rooted in that legacy: we are run by the community, for the community, providing a safe and welcoming space for children, young people, families, and older residents alike. Through a wide range of activities and events, we strive to reduce anti-social behaviour, promote community cohesion, and support both the physical and mental health of everyone who walks through our doors.

Our daily operations are overseen by our trustees and powered by dedicated local volunteers, keeping our doors open by relying on low-cost hire fees for community groups, statutory organisations, and small businesses. Guiding these efforts is our Centre Manager, Kez Bridger, who brings over 25 years of experience as a local project facilitator and always greets visitors with a warm smile. Working from our on-site offices, Kez coordinates community-led initiatives specifically aimed at improving the quality of life across the more deprived areas of Bognor Regis.

Inside, our versatile facility offers a large gym for local fitness classes, a lounge-style room for classroom and group sessions, an intimate mini hall, and a fully equipped kitchen complete with full cooking facilities. Step out to the rear of the property, and you will find Bognor Regis’s first legal street art wall—a creative space that encourages artists from across the country to showcase their talent while giving up-and-coming creators a safe, open canvas to express themselves. Whether you are looking to join a class, hire a space, or catch some incredible local art, our doors are open to all.
